An Interview with Anna & Gab on Their Real-Life FLR Journey

Q: Anna, when did you first know you wanted to lead in your relationship?
Anna: I think I always knew. Even before I had the words for it, I felt more secure, more me when I was in control. I’ve been called bossy since I was a kid—but I call it clarity. In relationships, I got tired of playing small to make someone else feel big.

Q: Gab, was that intimidating at first?
Gab: Honestly? Yeah. My ego took a few hits. But the truth is, I wanted to serve—I just didn’t know that was okay. When Anna started laying down structure, I didn’t feel smaller. I felt seen. For the first time, someone wasn’t asking me to pretend I had all the answers.

Q: What does leadership look like in your daily life?
Anna: It’s structure, rituals, expectations. I lead our financial decisions, chore division, intimacy rules… but it’s not about control for the sake of control. It’s about clarity and consistency.
Gab: I thrive under it. I get up earlier. I’m more focused. Knowing what pleases her gives my days purpose.

Q: Has your relationship changed since embracing FLR?
Anna: It’s deeper. We’ve stripped away the performance and started living in truth.
Gab: We’re more intimate now than ever. And not just sexually—emotionally. Spiritually. I trust her with all of me.

Q: What would you say to couples curious about FLR?
Anna: Don’t wait for permission. If you feel the pull, start the conversation. Lead with honesty.
Gab: Be brave enough to let go. Surrender isn’t weakness—it’s strength through trust.
